Access is from the well-signposted crossroads on the provincial road "Lodovica", which runs right through Garfagnana. For about 2kms, you go along a charming road beside the artificial lake formed by the river, and through a few old tunnels.

The CASALE ('Farmhouse of the Streams') is an old farmhouse built in the first half of the 19th century and renovated in 2005 with every attention being made to extreme comfort, but at the same time maintaining the rural essence of the building.
